[brick] - Feets
feets
.
.
my feet
took a vote, and decided,
unanimously, to strike
out on their own
if the following conditions are not met:
.
i am no longer to look down on them.
.
all socks with holes
are to be mended or disposed of
immediately.
.
this-little-piggy is to be declared
their national anthem
and
must be sung, on demand,
where circumstances allow.
.
there will be more dancing
and more massage,
preferably in conjunction,
the latter to follow the former
in a timely fashion.
.
a committee is to be formed
to look into the callous
situation; i am to abide by
their recommendations.
.
the barbaric practice
of tearing nails
must stop forthwith
and henceforth
all maintenance shall be performed
with the proper equipment.
.
weekly,
all coverings are to be removed
and a minimum of an hour
of intimate contact with
(in summer)
grass, dirt, or sand
(in winter)
Epsom salts, lotion, or silly animal slippers
will commence.
.
footsie is to be restored to its
former place of glory.
.
lastly,
i am to return my body
to a limberness that will allow
the toes to be reunited with
their oldest and best friend,
my mouth.
