Fuck You (my ultimate break-up poem)

I never wrote a poem for you 
that you truly gave a fuck about.

This is the last time you'll have the opportunity,
the privelege, to judge.

The mangled communication..
tangled miscommunications 
have killed me.
.
I say A, you hear B 
and somewhere in between them
both you and me are lost.
.
Attacks and regrets are for those
who don't know better yet. 
.
You know that's not me, that 
I don't fit that category.
.
You destroy faster than I can build.
.
You heat or cool my ardour 
Faster than I can swill paracetamol.
.
You breed fleas and disease
but bring no remedies with 
which I could fight them off.
.
I loved you more than any other -
you loved me less than many others 
have professed to care for me.
.
But they are liars. So were you 
when you said we'd be together
forever
.
yet turned my proposal flat down 
with the fleeting bother of 
a casual annoyance. 
.
I want more. I gave more -
I deserve more. I deserve me.
.
All the words that I've given you, 
the tears that I've shed for you, 
you couldn't return. 
.
I know someone else who can. Fuck you!
