who are you?

you judge love in loves name 
just for your own convenience
cling to maybes, preach and yell
at others disobedience
. 
..pronounce and parade ideas, you 
didn't conceptualise -
realisations you never came to.
.
as if they were legitimate clothing
as if they were legitimate living!
.
people are the same from both of 
our stark poles of the spectrum
we are all different combinations
of the same ingredients.
.
our placement is not god-granted
our geography not god-given
our socio-economic divide 
is the product of religion
.
our education random
we struggle through our times
learning the same lessons in 
our vastly different lives
.
they who rule in the name of God
trade in human lives
they that judge the way you do
rape and pillage lives
.
they stole our history from us
rewrote it full of lies
now they breed you to continue
doing their design.
.
fear who you may be next
who you could be this time 
.
there's no room for self importance 
left in our fractured minds
.
just room for all the questions;
your answers come with mine.
.

.
pity me because I smoke
and i know i shouldn't. 
.
pity the aging in our bones;
i too, have daily struggles,
faults of my own. 
.
pity the next man or woman..
empathise with them like I do..
.
you are only one small step away
from being in their shoes!
.
only one small step away
from being them; them being you.
.
.
.
you are accidental, incidental
utterly coincidental
.
so take that self importance and shove it up your ass.
