Spinkle
Q: Who are you? A: I'm spinkle :) (or spnk if I'm at work) Q: Where do you live? A: Just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Q: Why do you come to #Poetry? A: To share and discuss poetry...to learn as well as to (somewhat more rely) teach. Q: How long have you come to #Poetry? A: Dunno. I appear in spurts though I'm almost always in the channel. Q: w0rship. A: Highly spiritual while refusing to adhere to any organized religious stem. Q: What are your hobbies? A: I play guitar and sing...I mostly perform my own material...although this supposed to be my job and not my hobby. But I'm working on that. Please don't ask me about Dashboard Confessional. Q: What is your job? A: I am a long-term temp at a small university in Philadelphia. Q: What's your family like? A: Very stoic and reserved most of the time, but a lot of fun when you get a lot of us together in one place, especially my cousins. Most importantly, I'm the most different from my family...the only artist in a practical family. Q: Who do you live with now, family, room mates, etc? A: I live in my parents' attic, which is MUCH more respectable than, say, living in their basement. Q: What's your status, ie, can we hit on you? A: Feel free :D I'm single and dangerously flirtatious and affectionate...I almost always respond in kind when it's offered. Q: What kind of poetry do you like? A: I tend to like abstract, imagistic pieces written for sonority that have a healthy respect for the absurd, without slipping into the all-too-clever. I consider poetry an art form, not a medium for communication. Q: Who's your favourite poets? A: W.H. Auden, Dylan Thomas, Theodore Roethke, William Blake, and William Everson. Q: What kind of poetry do you hate? A: Anything whose language is so watered down to preserve meaning that the artistic aspects of the piece become too diluted to have an effect. See above.
